What are docket controls?

Docket controls are calendars and systems put in place by a lawyer/law firm to assist in appointment and deadline reminders and even conflicts of interest. These include, but not limited to, paper calendars, Outlook or Google calendars, cell phone calendars and a computerized case management system. Most of our carriers require that each lawyer/law firm utilize at least two docket/calendar controls, regardless of their areas of practice.
