Applicants should apply based on the services they provide. If the mariner provides charter services of any type, they would apply as a ‘Charter Captain’. If the mariner works in a more traditional maritime field (such as towing/vessel assistance, transportation, passenger vessels, etc.) they would apply according to their license grade under ‘Apply Now’.
