  • This E&O Policy renews on May 1st. All certificates of insurance issued under this policy will renew May 1st. Premiums are prorated based on chosen effective date of coverage.

  • Premiums are prorated to allow for mid-policy enrollment
  • Pricing includes a $50.00 administrative fee and $5.00 monthly processing fee for monthly payment option. Down payment includes one month's premium & administrative fees. Monthly deductions as shown above will begin the third day of the month after enrollment.
  • At the time of enrollment, each agent will be required to make a non-refundable payment in the amount of the first month’s premium (minimum earned premium). Administrative fees and minimum earned premium are non-refundable.
  • This policy renews on May 1st of each year.

Program Eligibility

  • You must be actively contracted with National General Accident & Health at the time of your effective date under this policy in order to be eligible for coverage
  • If you are terminated (other than for cause) from National General Accident & Health during the policy period, coverage for any new business activities ceases immediately as of your termination date. You will be covered under an automatic 36-month Extended Reporting Period beginning on the date of termination. The Extended Reporting Period applies to Wrongful Acts (I) committed after your Prior Acts date (II) committed before your termination date. (Does not apply in NY)
  • If you become disabled or fully retire, you will receive an unlimited Extended Reporting Period

  • Basic coverage includes the sale and servicing of life, accident and health, LTC, Medicare, fixed and indexed annuities, disability income activities as well as mutual funds, variable life and variable annuities (Series 6) through any FINRA-registered broker/dealer
  • Defense costs reduce the limit of liability and are not subject to the retention* Punitive damages are not covered by the policy. Refer to the policy form for the definition of defense costs and punitive damages.

    *With respect to those Agents, General Agents and Registered Representatives insured under this policy who are residents of, or practice in New York State, Defense Costs reduce the limit of liability and are subject to the retention.

  • Prior Acts Coverage for National General Accident & Health product related claims back to the earlier of:
    • Your original continuously maintained contract with National General Accident & Health
    • The first effective date of continuously maintained E&O coverage
  • Instant proof of insurance
  • $50,000,000 total annual aggregate policy liability limit - does not apply in NY
  • This is a claims made and reported policy. Claims must be submitted as soon as practicable in writing to the insurer. Coverage only applies to claims first made during the policy period. Claims must be reported during the policy period; or, during an extended reporting period (ERP). Prior acts are covered back to the first day of continuous E&O coverage. Please refer to the policy form for claim reporting provisions and definition of a claim, prior acts definition, and ERP details.

  • $100 for products offered by National General Accident & Health

Payment Options
